I’m not sure who gave them the four star rating that they advertise as having, it is far from 4 star, it is dated and very tired, it has tatty cheap worn furniture, the carpet in the dining room was very heavily stained, the staff were pleasant and the breakfast was okay those are the only compliments I can give, everything else was terrible and embarrassing

The water pressure in the third floor shower is terrible. The internet only worked half of the time. Breakfast menu is limited. The staff were kind and it is in a good location.

A great location with friendly and welcoming manager on arrival. My room was perfect for my requirements, as a solo traveller - double room and big bed! Spacious as well and no issues with cleanliness. Nice table serviced breakfast, plenty of options to self serve. Then a menu for the cooked items to choose from. Really good! Coffee was fantastic- individual percolator These are old buildings, so dont expect perfection in terms of the fixtures, fittings and decor. Remember y'all, Its the place to sleep/go back and forth from during the holiday..You're not moving in! Appreciate the Hotel for what it is - A great, traditional B&B, Perfectly located, right by the sea.

4 poster room, right at the top. Sideways sea view lovely. Furniture quite dated but ok. Takes a long time for hot water in the shower & then it's a light shower. Toilet cistern takes a long time to refill & is noisy. Breakfast is very good. Very tasty, quick & more than ample food, & staff extremely attentive & friendly in the morning. Great position near pier, just in desperate need of a major upgrade. Bath panel loose, some paper peeling etc but overall not a bad stay.

What a lovely stay! We were in Rm 9 with a sea view - the room is very spacious and comfortable. We had the perfect hosts and our breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice and cooked to perfection.

Breakfast was really nice and staff were very friendly, comfortable bed but the room wasn’t very clean, the bath was dirty with hairs inside and all grime around the taps , no rubber joint on the bottom of the shower screen so wasn’t able too have a proper wash

A lovely stay in a homely B&B.

Lovely stay in a homely B&B. Kiki was very accommodating of our needs and even allowed a later check out free of charge on my birthday. The only slight downside was the shower in our room , the water pressure was very low and hot water therefore took around 7 mins to fully come through, wasting quite a lot of water running it cold for that amount of time unfortunately! Otherwise a very pleasant stay and would definitely return.

Comfortable pleasant stay.

A clean budget hotel with a very good breakfast. Staff friendly and welcoming. Some restoration going on outside which did not adversly affect our stay. The 55 steps to our room was no problem to us but may affect other travellers. There is no lift.
