「The property was a little tricky to find as it is off the main roads and down a windy, narrow gravel path. It's about a 30 minute drive to Lucca. The private pool is lovely, and all the flowers and succulents are beautiful. 「We loved our stay at the Borgo - very central to the main cities to visit like Lucca and Pisa. Comfortable bed, air con was a plus, it became a home from home for us for 6 days. Nice to have a pool to chill around as well.」

「Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr schön. Die Gastgeberin war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit.In der schönen Ferienwohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man zum Wohlfühlen braucht.Fahrtzeit nach Pisa 1 Stunde 45 Minuten und Florenz 1 Stunde 25 Minuten. Nachts die Serpentinen hoch ist ein kleines Abenteuer, da allerhand Wild unterwegs ist.」

「Very nice renovated medieval farm house. Rustic interior. Very nice kitchen and bathrooms. Good directions for operating the appliances. The location inside the remnants of a castle is remarkable, and the view from Monsummano Alto is spectacular. We also had a fantastic dinner at La Forresteria restaurant right on the mountain top.」
