  • Take a break and unwind at the peaceful and cozy Skwala Cabin in Paradise Valley. This pet-friendly tiny cabin is thoughtfully designed with just enough space for a comfortable and restful stay. The beds are cozy, the setting is quiet, and the views are breathtaking. The cabin works especially well for couples, small families with children, or even groups of four adults who pack light and appreciate a minimalist space.



    You will be close to the legendary Chico Hot Springs, the Old Saloon, Pine Creek Lodge, local wedding venues, world-class fly fishing, river rafting, horseback riding, and scenic trails. Just 35 miles from the North Entrance to Yellowstone and 25 miles south of Livingston, the Mayfly Cabin is your gateway to the best of Paradise Valley.



    While the cabin is compact, many of our guests have found it perfectly suited for their needs—especially those looking for an affordable and well-located base to explore the area.

Very clean, lots of flowers outside the front door and a place too sit at a picnic table in privacy. Good coffee service. Beds comfortable really everything you need.

Great views - super cozy

The property is in such a beautiful location and the little cabins are so cute. We went into the park 2 days and it was an easy commute. Plus it’s super close to two hot springs!

The perfect little cabin for the weekend. Beautiful area and close to the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Safe, clean. We loved the area and being able to experience The Sage Lodge, The Old Saloon, The Outpost, Wildflour Bakery, and Follow your Noze BBQ.

The views are amazing. Paradise Valley is breathtaking. Cabins are small & very cozy. Close to some fun places: The Pine Creek Lodge, Old Saloon, Chico Hot Springs, & Yellowstone Park. Livingston & Big Timber are nearby. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

These cabins are absolutely perfect! Spent the weekend with some girlfriends and the owners are so lovely! The cabins are cozy, updated and so clean (with an amazing coffee setup inside!) the views are stunning from the cabins and it’s quiet and so peaceful. You are 5 minutes from iconic spots like Old Saloon, Chico Hotsprings and 20 minutes from downtown Livingston- making this the perfect weekend getaway location. I will 10/10 book again!

Living in Paradise

We got to stay in these sweet little cabins on our trip to Montana. Easy check in, very responsive hosts, the views are incredible, and the space has all of the necessities! We were right next to the Yellowstone River and got to float the river, then headed over to Yellowstone NP on day two - location is perfect. Coming home to a comfy bed, clean space, and rustic Montana living was just so special for us. We loved everything about these cabins and will certainly be booking here again for our next Montana adventure! Thank you EJ and Natalie for being such wonderful hosts! 10/10 recommend.

Very convenient and comfortable stay.

We stayed in the Skwala Cabin for two nights. We were attending a family reunion near Chico Hot Springs and the cabin was perfect -- 3 miles from Chico. The price was reasonable and the cabin was comfortable. It was private and quiet, and features a frig, microwave, Kuerig coffee, wi-fi, and smart TV. We were able to log onto our Netflix and watched a late night movie. The wi-fi worked great. The cabins are compact like an RV -- maybe 10ft x 20ft. A full bed and a double bunk were comfortable. The cabin was clean and the bathroom had plenty of hot water and everything worked great. Bottom line: the cabin was just what we were looking for. Here are my thoughts on improving the cabins and the customer experience. They are situated so that each cabin has a private patio screened by a fence from the neighboring cabin. They are not nestled in a forest setting with a pleasant creek running through the property. The cabins are sited on basically a gravel parking lot near the East Road. The nearby properties are a collection of trashy commercial equipment (and the typical Montana collection of junk cars and trucks). The property needs landscaping with many trees, vegetation, rock features, maybe even a pond with water features and a fire pit. For a place to sleep for the night between daily activities, the cabin is perfect. For a destination cabin to hang out for even a partial day: no. It is a gravel parking lot. For a place to crash for night, I'm rating the Stonefly as a 5.0. I also appreciated the email communication: confirmation, billing, check in and check out instructions, etc.
