The property is clean. If you’re just looking for an inexpensive place to stay for the night, this was OK. It’s an old hotel, Probably from the 60s where all the rooms are on the first floor and you can back right up to them. We had four people in our room, and we shared the one towel that was there.

Ok for a low budget hotel, but….as a woman traveling alone and at night, security was very concerning. There was a strange man in the (very small) lobby when I arrived, not necessarily a problem. However, the clerk verbally asked for my phone number without offering a piece of paper to write it down. I didn’t want to repeat my phone number with a strange man within ear shot who saw me arrive alone and after midnight. Clerk was apologetic when I made her aware, but it did make me anxious for my stay.

I was a solo traveler and it was fine for me. There’s not breakfast to speak of, but there are many spots around where you can purchase it. I would stay there again. Rosa, the manager, was also welcoming and friendly.

The room was shabby and lacked any amenities other than soap. The front desk person was unable and help with anything as she said her boss was the only one capable. For example I asked her to print something and she gave me the email address. When I returned to pick it up she said it went to her boss so it was unavailable

This is a factual report, and not an emotional one. The manager is a kind, helpful person, but is the sole operator. I was in a room, which when I walked in was clean-looking. There was a light on, I had food in my hand, so I didn't bother to turn on any others. I sat on the bed to eat as there was no chair in the room. When I finished, I prepared to go to sleep because I got in late, I noticed flying insects at the top of the vanity mirror. It was only about 2 or 3, at first. So, I took care of them thinking maybe they flew in when I walked in. But after I disposed of them more appeared. I proceeded to turn on all the lights in the room because it just seemed like they were coming from somewhere in the ceiling, and then I noticed that there were more insects in different parts of the room in the ceiling. This is when I checked my bed, and found something, don't know what it was, but something in the bed along with hair follicles. I went back to the front desk and asked for another room, explaining the situation. The manager gave me another room, but it was right next to the last room. I walked into that room, turned on all the lights, and proceeded to check the room. I only found one insect, but it was clear, on the wall, that other people had encountered large insects as they were splattered on different parts of the wall. You get what you pay for, so take this with a grain of salt.

Definitely don’t go off of the pictures because that is not what you get! When we first pulled up, a group of 3 men were cutting the lock off of the vending machines. Not sure what that was about. The laundry room where they wash the sheets, etc is outside under a car port where the lawn mowers are parked. It is definitely a motel that people live in and not just stay for a little vacation. The room was so unlevel that the bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut. Would never stay again because it was pretty sketchy even though I think they are trying to fix it up.
