「Welcoming and warm - complimentary glass of mulled wine and mince pie on arrival and a lovely warm clean room. Staff are kind and thoughtful. Will definitely stay there again when in Halifax.」

「Welcome drink on arrival... Still waiting for it! Raised issues with staff that were handled professionally but could have easily been avoided. Buffet style breakfast with choice of additional cooked to order dishes and continental options 5*. The surroundings were breathtaking. Would recommend as peaceful retreat for all to stay and enjoy local area with much to see and do. 10/10 to cocktail maker Alex.」

「Beautiful property and landscaping. Really kind staff, hard-working, but slow service. Which is fine if you are up for a long relaxed meal. Probably a little understaffed.. Everyone worked very hard. Room was very nice but a little dated the bed was slightly soft for my comfort but very rich and historic site. 」

「The tipping point for good customer service, was ordering Uber eats, and I waited for almost an hour, and the staff calling the pizza place, and notifying me when it finally got there, an hour and 1/2 later. The place was clean, amenities were there, they have a bar and restaurant on-site. It looks refurbished, the only slight problem was the shower was a bit lukewarm, but iti might have been because I was at the end of hallway They also have an elevator, which is another bonus 」
