One guest had made an entry in the guest book that it was "a long and winding road". That's what made it so very peaceful and quiet. The suite was very comfortable and the view was wonderful and serene. I was there in June when there had been much rain. The green hills, the blue sky and the white clouds were magnificent. The wildflowers were abundant and one day Lana and I took a wildflower hike and enjoyed identifying many as Lana photographed along the way. The property was also home to two beautiful horses and some lovely chickens that provided great omelets for breakfast.
All these things considered, this would not be the place for fast night life, a restaurant on every block, and concerts in the park.
For me, a very nice part was knowing Lana, her daughter Morgan and their pup Riley. It's amazing what Lana has done and is doing with this beautiful property and with her own life.
This experience might not be for everyone, but if you like quiet time to read, write, draw, hike, explore, nap, please consider it seriously.
