Only two blocks from downtown this cottage has charm with wood floors and built in bookcases & is two blocks from parades, concerts & annual festivals. It’s less than a mile from the fair grounds and equestrian center and 6 miles from Spirit of the Suwannee. Enjoy quite rural celebrations or less than 1.5 hours from Jacksonville, Gainesville, Tallahassee or Valdosta, Ga.

Host was very responsive and welcoming. Location was close to several state parks that are lovely. The town is small but had everything we needed for a great weekend.

We had a late check in because the host stated it was not ready. Once we got there, the place was unsanitary. There is scum on the shower head that doesn’t work properly in the master, and when we tried to use the second bathroom-there was a painting covering a spot on the wall in the shower where the shower head should have been. It was just hanging down. There was only one tv in the living room. The house was generally dirty and when I pulled up the sheets to check the bed because they did not smell as if they were cleaned-a huge orange/yellow sweat stain was present on the master bed. The couch was covered in stains. We ended up buying a blanket and pushing the two twin beds together to be able to sleep because not only was the master mattress unsanitary-the mattress itself was completely caved in the center. There was also mold in the bathrooms and no caulking.

We stayed 5 nights in this cottage for a softball tournament. It was great for us. Even the private backyard was perfect. Lori was very helpful when we needed to extend our stay from 2 nights to 5 nights.

Nice neighborhood and great location

We were in Live Oak for the Florida Freewheelers 6 day bike ride. The house is located a little more than a mile from the fairgrounds, making the commute easy. Neighborhood is very quiet and nice. The house was perfect for our needs, it just needs a little TLC.

Cozy Weekend

We are grateful for a warm stay at the cottage with nearby access to the Spirit of the Suwanee Music Park during a very cold weekend! No snow, but a hard frost. Glad to find a rental that supports a family who has local roots in and care for the area.

Quick weekend property cleanup

Escaping the Hurricane

My family was staying at a friends unfinished home in the country to accommodate all of us and our dogs. We were not able to find another location and this one came available on the fourth day so we were grateful to have some thing with running water and a toilet. The hostess was extremely helpful and kind and supportive and did everything she could to make Our stay as good as she could. For $100 a night it’s not a five star hotel but it’s cute and it’s right in town and a nice neighborhood.

2nd time staying here. There was a lot of garbage sitting g outside the rear door. Critters got into it so we had to clean it up. The home was sufficient for our needs. The cleaning could have been better. Corners and mold in bathroom.

We came to stay for a rock round-up event. The location was ideal to distance of event. Housekeeping and maintenance of house needs improvement! Thank you, Lori for the place to stay while we were there. We would not re-rent your home.

After Christmas visit with our son and daughter in law

We selected this cute little cottage as it was near our son's home in Wellborn, Florida. We were able to spend three days with our son and daughter in law to celebrate Christmas with them. We had a wonderful time! The house was absolutely perfect for our needs!
