"This cabin is a little piece of heaven on earth. We stayed here this weekend for our anniversary. The cabin was immaculate and had every single thing we needed. The hotntub was amazing and the fact that it was on a screened in porch was perfect. When we had trouble signing in to the wifi, they were quick to respond to my texts and helped me resolve the issue quickly. I highly recommend the Valkyrie and we will definitely stay here every chance we get."

"We had an awesome and relaxing time celebrating our 43rd anniversary. It was just what we were looking for. The water was a bit harder to access then we expected. But the cabin was perfect."

"We loved the cabin and the location. The host has a very nice binder with local recommendations which was very helpful, however we stayed mid week (Tues-Fri) and many of the local restaurants were not open Mon, Tues, Wed. No problem there were plenty of other places to eat. Highly recommend Meal & Market for breakfast. On our last night we were having dinner and dinks on the deck and a big black bear strolled just past the deck towards the woods, Kind of a highlight for me. He wandered off into the woods, very nice. Highly recommend this location for a nice quiet get away."

"We had a family event in AL and decided to stay at this small, cute cabin to break up the drive. During our stay, we saw a couple of deer, and a couple of meteors and milky way on the first night. SE, above, and partial W view of the sky. NE view from entrance of driveway. Trees on horizon, We visited Desota falls, a canyon, and a restaurant nearby. Space to back up to turn around to get out of driveway."

"Great cabin. The only suggestion I would recommend is foldable TV type trays to eat on. The only table is outside on back deck and in rainy situations you have nowhere to place food but otherwise great place!!"
