「Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!! 「House was very clean. The king beds were very comfortable (I never tried the twin beds). We had two minor issues/questions while there - communication with owner was easy and we had quick responses. There were plenty of bath towels. Only minor complaint is I wish we had extra hand and kitchen towels, for when one was in the wash. Dishwasher detergent was provided but not laundry detergent. House is in a quiet family neighborhood, nice location.」

「Our check in process was a little strange. We had not received any information prior to showing up about how to access the unit. Instead, when we arrived there was a person that came up to us and showed us how to get in. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that we would be meeting a person because check in was anytime after 4pm. Would she had still been there if we didn't arrive until later that night? The unit did provide some essentials like a hair dryer and shampoo which was nice....
