  • TileHouse95 is in an antique typical building with tiles from the beginning of the century, the entrance of this building reminds Lisbon of 1900. The apartment is completely renovated with natural and ecological materials creating a calm and relaxing environment. After a busy day around Lisbon, its good to relax on TileHouse95 and have a glass of wine at sunset on the balcony.

    The apartment has two bedrooms, one - the master suite - with a king-size bed and private bathroom, a living room, a second bathroom, a balcony and a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook with the ingredients bought at the nearby traditional market .
    The house has all the facilities you need such as TV, free Wi-Fi throughout the house, washing machine and dishwasher, oven and microwave, toaster, coffee machine, squeezer, kettle, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. Bed linen, towels and basic shower kit (shower gel and shampoo) are provided. Baby cot and baby chair can be also provided.

Great place to stay. Feels like a little neighbourhood in Lisbon. Close to everything but far enough from the crowds. Clean, comfortable beds and great communication with host.

This property exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by a welcoming host with coffee and pastries and all aspects of the apartment were explained. It was immaculate. They also left us a bottle of wine. There were guide books and a recommendation for a restaurant. Highly recommend. Would stay here again.

Five Night Stay in Lisbon

We liked everything about it. It was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We gave a four for the location as we found it a little sketchy walking through certain areas on the way home from the city centre. It was a great starting point for walking everywhere. It was fine for us because we never go out after dark.

Loved Lisbon

Property was very clean, beds were fantastic and we slept very well. Silvia was a gracious host and provided much information. Super little pastry shop across the road and close to grocery stores. Wear very good shoes as the cobblestones are very uneven. You will need to walk up 2 flights of stairs with your suitcases so be aware it is a tough haul up!thank you for the great stay!

Lovey Stay

The apartment was so warm and cozy! Everything we needed was made available and Sylvia was wonderful! We loved how welcoming and helpful she was on top of the bottle of wine and pastries set out upon our arrival! Although not in the touristy side of Lisbon, it was easy to get around via walking, public transportation and of course Uber. Local markets, restaurants and the pharmacy were also close by. Would definitely stay here again when staying in Lisbon!

Convenience and Comfort

We had to meet the owner/manager to get access to the property, but this turned out to be a very good thing since she had many suggestions for transportation (there are many public options) and provided us with maps that she went over with us before leaving us to enjoy the very comfortable apartment. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped, including a welcome bottle of wine. This was our last stop in Portugal and we had a just a short drive to the airport to return to France.

Great location & Amazing stay

This was perfectly well appointed. Host was super nice and really helpful. Location was a 12min walk to the metro station intendente. From there you can take it to Cais do Sodré. From here you can take the bus or tram to Belem or Bus to the zoo (highly recommend both) Grocery and cafe with a few min walk. Super nice pizza guy to the left has good pizza. Some of the best gelato in Lisbon can be found near by. Advise is to bring good walking shoes and enjoy a super nice place and amazing city.

Comfortable Lisbon Stay

Three nights in Lisbon. Host is great. Good communication prior to arrival and met us at apartment for check in. Apartment is as described. Market just down the street for basics. Subway station 10 minutes walk, downtown 20-25 minutes walk. Street busy at night making smaller bedroom a bit noisy. Maybe a fan would help create some white noise? Two bathrooms handy. Extra towels needed. Washing machine excellent bonus.

Great for families and couples

We loved staying here for an extended stay in Lisbon. Spacious, bright, clean, and comfortable. Two bathrooms, both with a shower. Very comfortable beds: king, queen, and the sofa can pull out to a nice sized bed. Full kitchen. Quiet and efficient air conditioning. It's on the third floor, but if steps are a problem, then Lisbon is not the place for you! It's not near evening hotspots, so great for families and couples. We got everywhere we wanted to go easily from here. The bus stops right outside, and a tram stop is nearby. Ubers are incredibly inexpensive, so we frequently used them, too. Really enjoyed exploring Graca in addition to all the other historical spots. Silvia was very easy to communicate with, and she met us upon arrival to get us settled. We'd gladly stay here again.

Did Not Honor Her Word - we got shafted

The place is pretty, clean, roomy, comfortable bed with a well appointed kitchen. However, we got screwed because she said one thing and did another. After staying for 4 nights and leaving the place in impeccable order, we requested one more night for the end of our vacation, as we flew back out of Lisboa. We texted her to confirm adding a night. She agreed. I made sure to send 2 more detailed confirmation emails. She responded and inquired about our future check in time ETC. We had several texts rounds re: final night. Then at the end of our Portugal trip we get this text: “Sorry, someone else took your room”. WHAT?! Now we had to scramble to find a place at the last min so we were subject to much higher prices ( double) due to the last min nature of our request anywhere near airport. Her dishonesty cost big time! She LET someone swipe the room from under us because they requested 2 nights vs our one. She could have reversed their online reservation and done the right thing. But she did not. We liked the place but we would never go back because trust was breached.

This is a nice apartment, a good place to relax after returning from the city. There are two modern very clean bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. The apartment is centrally located with stores and restaurants nearby. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the tramway and less than 15 minutes to the metro station. We also liked the neighbourhood with a lot of locals and international residents. Silvia’s reception was very friendly and helpful.

The stay was exactly as described. Quiet neighborhood a quick walk/Uber to where we wanted to go. Check in was also easy, and it was well stocked.
