The best things at Solar Dos Mouroa, besides an incredible view of the river from the heart of the old city is the service. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating from the moment we arrived. A special shout out to Rio, who came and rescued us himself when our taxi driver left us downhill at the wrong location with all of our heavy luggage. Breakfast was quite a nice spread too, especially with the make your own crepe station!

We had a great stay at Solar dos Mouros. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay. They gave us great suggestions for attractions, helped us book transportation, and were always happy to help with anything we needed. They even adjusted the breakfast time to accommodate our early check out, which was such a thoughtful touch. We stayed in a balcony room and it was beautiful and spacious. There is no elevator, so there are quite a few stairs, but honestly once you get into the room and step out onto the balcony, you completely forget about them. The view of the Cristo Rei statue and the iconic 25 de Abril Bridge is amazing. The location is also fantastic. It is central to many of the main tourist spots, historical sites and landmarks, making it easy to explore Lisbon. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff, the room and especially the balcony view were the highlights for us. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

An excellent hotel to stay if you want to be close to the main attractions in the old Lisbon, located at a walking distance from the Rossio Metro station. Lots of cafés and restaurants nearby, not to mention the one at the hotel serving delicious Portugese cuisine. Breakfast is also super delicious with croissants, toasts, fresh fruit, eggs, yogourt, cold cuts, pancakes...etc. The staff is amazing. A big thank to François, Maurice (Momo), Bruno and Anick who were always ready to help. They also made suggestions for tours and visits. I had the room on the top floor with a private terrace and a wonderful view of the Taje. This room is worth paying a little more if you want to treat yourself. It was my first time in Lisbon and I would definitely stay there when I return.

Clean, modern room with espresso maker, mini fridge, fresh fruits and a decanter of port laid out for us. Windows overlooking the rooftops and ocean. If you constantly run hot like I do, the AC unit and wooden shutters create a cool oasis, along with soft duvet and comfortable mattress. Breakfast (we paid for included meal) was well worth it: eggs, sausage and tomato baked with cheese. Crepes with all sorts of sweet toppings, pastries, bread, meats, cheese, smoked salmon and fruit. The friendly Francois asked after every detail. A hard hike from tram stops but uber from the airport was under $20. The hotel is above a grocery store, providing for inexpensive lunches and wine. A perfect stay.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful time in Lisbon, thanks to our relaxing stay at this hotel. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the location was perfect.
