Fantastic location for sightseeing — walkable to most attractions and surrounded by great amenities. Just keep in mind the building sits on a busy road, so nights can get very noisy with street traffic and crowds. Not ideal if you’re a light sleeper, though earplugs are provided and made a real difference for us. The apartment itself was clean with a comfortable bed and two AC units — a lifesaver in June. The bathroom is dated, and we felt the price was on the higher side for what’s offered. That said, if location and convenience are your priority, it delivers on that front.

As a solo traveler who wanted to stay in Alfama, this was the ideal spot for me. The room was clean, staff was friendly and when I needed something, they immediately took care of it. As a solo traveller, I felt really safe staying at the hotel and being in the area. Everyone was really nice and welcoming as it was my first time visiting Portugal. Hotel was accommodating as I arrived early and they held my luggage until check in. Front desk was amazing and very pleasant.
