Excelente alojamiento en el centro

Excelente el alojamiento. Bien situado. A cinco minutos de la playa. Caminando se va al centro y a Estoril. Buen aparcamiento. Habitación buena y baño moderno. Todo muy limpio. La señora que atiende la casa muy amable. Buen desayuno casero. Muy recomendable. Muy buen precio. Para repetir.

Very friendly and helpful staff. It feels like a home away from home. The house is clean, and very close to the train and several bus routes. Free continental breakfast daily. The beach and restaurants are in walking distance. There is a laundromat within walking distance for longer stays to wash/dry your clothes.

The owner, Sofia and the staff, Betinha, Fatima, Patricia are very welcoming. They are very knowledgeable about the area and were able to give me helpful advice and tips. The house is clean and well decorated. It’s in walking distance to the beach, boardwalk and the shopping district. There is a bus stop a few yards away. I would definitely come back for another stay.

Fab house in Monte Estoril

Beautiful old house, in perfect condition , 5 mins uphill from Monte Estoril estacao. Lovely , healthy, varied breakfasts , great staff, especially Fatima . We had the run of the house and access to free port & biscuits in the comfy living room. We also had a kettle & cups in tbe entrance lobby. We'd score this a perfect 10 if only it had a heated towel rail in the bathroom.We got wet a few times & needed to be able to dry our clothes , but couldnt . There were radiators , but they weren't on.Even so, a fabulous place to stay, on the Lisbon coastal line. 10 mins walk to Cascais along beach promenade & 35 mins into Lisboa by train. Will return , at a slightly warmer time of year .

Love this place!

I would choose this place over a hotel any day. I walked in feeling like I walked into someone's beautiful home and at the same time, it has everything you would want that you get at a hotel. The room has hairdryer, modern bathroom and everything you need. I was traveling for a conference and was actually sad not to be able to spend more time "at home" while there. The kitchen was great as extra grateful for the coffee I was able to get even with it being outside of the breakfast hours. I would definitely stay again and would say that if your looking for a charming experience that is way beyond a hotel stay, than Shanti Niketan is worth the trip on it's own.

Lugar com cheiro antigo e cafe da manha muito ruim

Primeiramente, o local eh dificil de ser encontrado. Passamos umas duas vezes de carro e nao achamos. A rua eh bem movimentada e por isso nao conseguiamos ir super devagar para conseguir achar o local. Quando chegamos, colocamos o carro na garagem e minha mae perguntou se so havia vaga para um carro (no caso de outro carro entrar e termos que estacionar na rua). A dona da casa foi bem grossa e disse "vc so tem um carro nao?". Nao ligamos primeiramente. Quando estava a nos mostrar a casa, perguntei se havia algum microondas para esquentar comida e ela disse "mas voces so vao ficar uma noite nao?", e na verdade iamos passar 2 noites em Cascais, mas reservamos somente uma noite para ver como era o local antes. Caso fosse bom, ficariamos a segunda noite. Obviamente nao reservamos a segunda noite. O cheiro do local era muito forte, de velho... eu tenho rinite alergica e durante toda a viagem a Portugal nao tive um problema, mas quando fiquei nessa casa eu comecei a espirrar bastante. Passado isso, fomos nos servir no cafe da manha, diga-se de passagem MUITO fraco. As frutas eram velhas, nao havia variedades, e minha mae perguntou se faziam um ovo mexido e disseram que so mediante a uma taxa. Ficamos em um hotel no Algarve pelo mesmo preco com um cafe da manha INCRIVELMENTE bom, cheio de variedades e coisas frescas. Nao vale o custo-beneficio. Quando dei o feedback negativo do check in recebi uma mensagem privada "voce eh uma em mil" da dona. Desagradavel.

I loved being a guest here, just had a few issues re access with a big car (Renault Megane). This is an ideal location in Monte Estoril, extremely hospitable and solicitous hosts, charming and unique cultural/spiritual decor, and very reasonable rate (Jan 2019). Very comfortable, with ample living space including access to drawing room, and full facilities (incl TV!) in each "cuarto" room. Free parking onsite in secure and gated premises. Access to electronic gate for parking, proceed carefully according to traffic conditions. Final word, I will happily return as a guest.

Lovely guesthouse in nice residential area

We stayed for two weeks so we could combine a beach holiday with sightseeing. Our room was very comfortable and had every thing we needed. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfasts were different each day and always very nice. Easy to catch the train for Lisbon and Belem. Bus stop outside the hotel for SIntra. Loads to do in Cascais, don't miss the Paula Rego gallery.

Sehr angenehmes und preiswertes Hotel

Sehr angenehmes und preiswertes Hotel mit B&B-Flair. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und bemüht. Wir hatten ein Auto (Parkplatz im Hof) und waren nur eine Nacht da und können daher nicht beurteilen, wie erreichbar einzelne interessante Objekte zu Fuss sind.
