There was no sign on the hotel, not ideal for finding it. TV did not work, wifi worked, but not well. No towels in the room. The sink wouldn’t drain and the toilet was really noisy for quite a while after flushing. Neighbouring room kept us up partying all night, no enforcement of any noise restriction for later at night. But, I will say that the man at the front desk was kind and friendly. We for sure would not stay there again, a true dive.

Super friendly staff. Room accommodations were clean and spacious. Property is a bit run down and needs renovation. The refrigerator wouldn't cool. No ice machine on site. No vending machines on site. Google Maps says that it is an unfussy Budget Hotel. That says it all!

When you pull up it might look like the property is abandoned. We got there at 1:30pm and the office was locked because they were cleaning rooms. I called and the manager said it would cost $20 for an early check in so we went and ate instead before coming back after 3:00 for check in. I booked a double queen but when we got to our room it was a single king. I went back to the office and the manager got us into a double queen. The manager was very polite and was a good guy. Our room had a bit of a musty smell but we really didn’t care as we were in town for a football game and just needed a place to crash after the game and the bars. Beds were nice, air worked, as did the fridge. Only 2 miles from downtown so the Uber ride was only $7 both ways and hotels downtown of course were gauging people at $400+ per night while we paid $88. I read another review where it said the area around the hotel was sketchy or unsafe; that is untrue. The Embassy Suites it is not, but if you are looking for a place to crash after a night out this hotel will do the job for the location and price.

DON’T STAY HERE. I chose this property based on location; convenient freeway on/off in relation to my travel route. Access was extremely easy and there was a gas station to fill up at when I left, right across the street. The pictures provided to Expedia are definitely NOT an accurate representation of the property. Though there were some new pieces of furniture in the rooms, and the bed/pillows were comfortable, it was all for not with detractors such as moldy shower curtain, 1 of 3 light bulbs working in the bathroom, dingy/stained sandpaper for towels, toilet seat not even bolted to the toilet bowl, curtain rod barely attached to the wall and hot water that was barely luke warm at best. The stairs, handrail and second story walkway were deteriorating with steps being of different heights. At check-in I was required to put down a $50 CASH deposit with out a receipt to prove the transaction. Room key card envelopes were clearly recycled as the one for my room was worn and ripped enough to not be an envelope anymore but more of a folded piece of paper. The property is located near the rail yard so don’t expect a quiet night sleep with rail car squeals and all associated noises with an all night crew keeping trains connecting and moving. The property did not offer any sense of security. Guests were also very loud as they came and went throughout the night with doors slamming, shouting/arguing and dogs barking.

Our stay never happened. I prepaid for a room with two queen beds. We got to town before check in, stopped at the hotel, our room wasn't ready which was perfectly fine because we were an hour and a half before check in time. Told them we will check in after the football game. When we got back to the hotel, they told us that they overbooked and didn't have a room with two beds for us. They offered us a room with one queen bed. We had 3 people so that meant one would be sleeping on the floor. We ended up having to stay at a friend's house. They said they will refund the charge. We will see of that actually happens, I guess.

Top rated bed bugs

After i made the non-refundable reservation my son went online and there were numerous reviews about issues with bed bugs at this hotel. I did not want to risk exposing my family and friends to that situation so we booked a different hotel. I'm extremely disappointed that Hotel.com allows this to happen and quite frankly i think I am owed a refund. These places should be somewhat vetted to prevent this from happening. NOT LISTED AS 4.0 RATINGS.

WORST PLACE DO NOT BOOK booked through Expedia the day before I called the hotels booking department to confirmed I have a reservation and they did I got to the motel itself and they couldn’t find my reservation.
