"There were signs "no smoking within 25 feet of building." There needs to be a "no smoking" policy period. Smelled the strong presence of "skunk" a few times... using gummies instead would not offend the majority."

"Happy Cottage in Edgecomb Maine exceeded my expectations. The house is immaculate and beautifully decorated, Jeffrey the owner put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming space. Our family of 4 had plenty of space to relax and the home has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable and each room has it's own design. There is plenty of charging spaces and lighting. The grill and the firepit are a wonderful feature and we truly enjoyed relaxing. Jeffrey is an excellent communicator, check in and check out were simple and he offered many suggestions for the local area. The house is centrally located and easy to drive to different towns and parks to explore. We had a terrific time on the East Wind schooner out of Boothbay Harbor and ate at a small food truck called S&J. We had the best fish and chips and lobster and crab roles. Jeffrey really cares about the quality of his guest's experience. I highly recommend the Happy Cottage and my family and I look forward to returning. Thank you Jeffrey!"

"The house is in a beautiful location on the river. We had an amazing time. We wish we could’ve stayed more than one night. The house was spotless, had all the amenities you could ask for, the beds were absolutely comfortable, and they’re about a 20 minute drive to Boothbay Harbor and the Botanical Gardens. It was very relaxing and quiet and had the most gorgeous sunset. I would absolutely rent from this host and this location in the future."

"This was our second time to stay at the View II and it was wonderful. We especially appreciated the balcony and the great view of the river. The unit is spacious and the full kitchen is a plus. We were disappointed that only 1 tv worked this time, because one reason we rented this unit again is 2 TVs. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was a little noisy and it would also be nice if there was a small dresser in the bedroom for folded clothes. But otherwise, I highly recommend this unit and the area around Edgewater and Wiscasset."

We had 6 groups coming together for a college reunion and found plenty of space to convene, eat (inside and out), and hang out in groups large and small.
