"We stayed here based on recommendations from our contact in Taiwan. It was easy to make reservations, book a car pickup from the airport and check in. The staff are all very friendly and our room was spacious and comfortable. Our stay included a choice of breakfast at 2 restaurants within the hotel and we also enjoyed snacks from the bakery, rice ball shop and gift shop. The train station is located directly by the front door and there are many shops and restaurants around the neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again."

"Overall, we did enjoy our stay at this hotel. The room was very nice & spacious. Cons: The food was okay, but not enough options. They had the same menu everyday. Also, at the restaurant entrance, it said dinner is served from 17:00-21:30, and last call is 21:00. One night, we arrived before 21:00, but we were told that they're already closing. We had to go eat at 7-eleven instead. We were also very disappointed that the hot tub was only open to guests 16 years and older. It wasn't mentioned on their website. We booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub. But we ended up not going even once because we had a 13 yo & 10 yo with us. "

"The Regent Hotel is in a great location. The breakfast buffet is 6 stars of 5 stars. Lots of variety - American, Chinese, Japanese, etc. The room was very clean and close to train station and shops. I highly recommend this hotel."
