"The room smelt damp/mouldy! The walls looked like they had stains on them. The bathroom mirror was dirty, there was what appeared to be toothpaste on the tiles next to the sink. There was a slug in the shower. The flooring was in need of replacing! Generally not worth the money! "

"Really great stay during a short walking trip to the South Downs. Lovely, comfortable room and en-suite bathroom, and the evening meal was absolutely fabulous! It’s right on top of the castle which unfortunately for us was shut, so we passed our time in the local pubs and restaurants, of which there are plenty.
