「I booked a room described as a 'Double or twin room with sea view'. In the notes of the booking, I requested twin beds but I was allocated a double room. The man serving me - older gentleman, white hair - would have struggled to care less. No apology, he just blamed Expedia and gave us a room with no view, which wasn't how we wanted to end our trip. There are signs everywhere telling guests what all the rules are. The hotel feels like an old people's home rather than a holiday destination. ...

「Extremely disappointing stay. I booked for 3 people, but the room was only suitable for 2. The third bed was tiny, rock hard and not fit for proper sleep. 「We loved the view of the loch and harbour from our room! Great breakfast, comfortable bed and warm greeting upon arrival (with a welcome drink and snack). We stayed only the night before our ferry crossing to Lewis, but loved Ullapool. From the hotel, it was an easy walk to the town center with plenty of dining options. Unfortunately the next morning, we discovered that our rental car had been keyed in the parking lot. Despite this, a lovely town and highly recommended hotel.」
