Visit the town of Les Sables d'Olonne, a major sailing and yachting center and the starting point of the mythical Vendée Globe and the Vendée Arctique. Discover the town's historic districts with their narrow streets and old fishermen's houses, explore the surrounding area with its beautiful coastal paths, forests and salt marshes and buy freshly caught fish from the fishermen at the port. Located on the Vendée coast, the seaside resort is known for its fine sandy beach, picturesque landscapes with dunes, marshes and the Olonne forest, so you don't have to miss out on wonderful nature experiences here.
