"They were only two tiny operable elevators during my stay in this 10+ floor hotel, so the wait times when going down were bad. I just took the stairs, but for my elderly parents, they had to wait each time. Staff were nice and helpful. Rooms were good and they had a free stocked refrigerator (5 drinks) that was a pleasant surprise. The view from the room was also quite nice. We tried the breakfast that includes a made to order egg station and overall it was good, but we did not find it worth the cost."

"The balcony room looking out lake Geneva is amazing. Make sure you take advantage of it during the sunset time. Hotel is right by the lake and there is a beautiful walking path along the lake right in front of it. Not impressed by the restaurant though. Overpriced for ordinary food."

"Localisation centrale et facile d’accès. Bien que le stationnement soit payant, il est vaste et directement sous l’hôtel. Petit déjeuner très élaboré et savoureux. Le seul petit bémol, la chambre est un peu exigüe et il n’y a pas de support pour les valises."

"We had to have a discussion with the reservation staff to get a better room. We were assigned a first floor room over looking a parking lot. After some discussion and significant increase in room cost we were moved to a larger third floor room with a nice view of Lake Geneva. What is the point of staying at the Grand Hotel du Lac if you can’t see the lake from your room. The hotel had many large tour groups who swarm in and out fast. Our overall experience was very good it is a very elegant hotel with a very professional exceedingly friendly staff. Since it sits on the waterfront with easy access to lake front walking and many restaurants along the way."

"The property was very unique, we love the high ceilings and the special touches that age will bring to a building. Having the rooftop area to sit at, and large windows to see the Lakeview was a wonderful touch as well. The property was very clean, and the room was very spacious."
