"We enjoyed the privacy of the fenced in yard and backyard pool when we needed a break from the busy Lake Michigan beaches! The home was exactly as advertised! We would recommend to other families looking to enjoy a Great Lakes vacation."

"This place was wonderful. The host was excellent and extremely responsive to any inquiries. The location was a in quiet setting in the heart of local wineries and farms (yet only a short drive off the freeway) which is exactly what we wanted for our girl’s weekend. A few small towns around the area offered either a good breakfast, dinner, brewery, dive bar (nice for cheap drinks!) and several wineries with St Joe only being an easy 15-20 minute drive away. We also loved the hot tub and fire pit in the evenings! The only suggestion I have is to put some hooks up to hang wet suits and towels ;-)I would definitely go back if I ever stay in that area again. Ken was a great host!"

"We do our family vacation every year at a different location, this house was voted the best by a couple of my kids. I have 10 grandkids, 5 girls, 5 boys. They love to be separate from each other. This house allowed each group to be well separated as well as provide private areas for the parents. Kitchen and view are fabulous. Pool and outside games was a daily hit for the grandkids and parents. I especially want to thank Jorge for his attentiveness and responsiveness; you don't often find owners that care as much about their guests. Hard to say goodbye. Also a thank you to Jorge's friendly and helpful team members that we got to meet."

"We loved this house and had the best time! It is very clean and you can tell it's kept up well. The neighborhood is quiet. As a family with a 10 year old and 2 year old, heres some things we loved the most: Both TVs are roku TVs and we could sign into our streaming, spacious living room to play in, comfortable beds, sound machines in the bedrooms, board games in the closet, coffee! (provided by host), large bathroom with shower and plenty of towels, 2nd half bathroom, nice washer and dryer, and the coziest family room. We loved the backyard and played outside in the morning in our PJs. We used the the beach chairs and umbrella in the garage, so thankful we didn't have to buy those. We were so surprised to find two bins of toys in the kids room, one filled with cars and the other Toy Story. Our two year old LOVED them. They kept him busy for hours! He never even touched his own toys. Lastly the hosts are wonderful and very responsive. We were having such a great time we even added a night and Lisa was so helpful. The beach is perfect for kids with the playground and splash pad. We loved this house and beach so much we want to come every year!"

"We had a wonderful time at beautiful Bear Lodge! It was everything we had hoped for in our family reunion. Spacious, elegant, fun, well equipped and so well thought out. We especially loved the pool area, soccer field with fabulous terrace balcony overlooking all. We hope we left it all in order today! We would rate this place at a 10!"
