"This place has been transformed from a house into a 10 room guest house but with virtually no health and safety measures in place or faulty/unusable ones. The rooms, themselves, are ok but small but, again, no PAT Testing done, no fire exits highlighted etc. The showers are filthy and poorly maintained (more water comes out of the hose than reaches the head). All in all avoid at all costs. Fire doors are wedged open and the only fire blanket is very high up."

"The hotel was perfectly located for my shopping and eating needs, whilst in Bristol. On arrival, the reception team were friendly and accommodating and told me everything that I needed to be checked-in and in my room in under 10 mins. The room was pristine with a good sized bed, desk to work at, and an ironing board to help ensure that I looked immaculate for my night out! The bathroom was spotless, with a good number of bright white towels. The air conditioner was noisy but could be switched off for a peaceful night on the firm bed. I will definitely stay again."

"Only stayed for one night and didn't have breakfast there but the room was lovely. It was during the hot spell so the room was nicely air conditioned on arrival. Had a bath which is a major plus for me and a hair dryer, iron/ironing board and safe amongst the usual things. Would stay again and would recommend"

"Called ahead to check the A/C didn't pump out synthetic scent as it stops my breathing. Told no problem. Check in find A/C pumps out scent. I turn off A/C. Temperature outside is 35°+. Given fans but as windows cannot be opened to exchange air in the cool of night I had to sleep on the floor like a dog to keep cool. Also Mattress worn out. Asked for a better solution. No solution reached apart from another fan. Given a free breakfast as a solution which was equally disgusting. Also despite putting up sign saying do not disturb housekeeping did go into my room which is always scary as a solo female traveller. Avoid avoid avoid. Cried on way home as felt violated."

"Where to start? Friendly staff - absolutely yes, but that’s about it. Room was so dusty. Couldn’t open the window more than a few inches and it was really hot. Noisy road with drain banging every time a car went over it - all night long! Noise from basement club (we had a ground floor room, maybe higher ones are better). That went on till 12 - whoop whoop!! Room tiny. Bed tiny. Bathroom tiny - didn’t even attempt the itsy shower cubicle. Room was advertised as 16 sq ft ??? lol. There we’re complimentary tea/coffee sachets but why leave us a cafetière pot but no filter coffee for it? No fresh fruit (room welcome card said to enjoy it with their compliments). If we had paid £80 I really wouldn’t have moaned but we paid £149 for one night and that didn’t even give us a breakfast. Shocking!"

"Stayed at future inn easily over 10 times. This time was the worst experience I've ever had a hotel. Was given a accessible room for wheel chair users. I don't have a wheelchair but that's fine whatever, however the chair screwed to the wall for people who need it was the most manky thing I've ever seen all brown marks and rust... The shower curtains were grey and also stained and a big fat bug on it upon arrival which I killed and flushed away as I'm not someone who likes to complain There was a lot of missing grout between the tiles which was collecting all kinds of horrid stuff and grout also stained questionable colours... The bed sheet had a large black dab of something on the top sheet when we arrived which really made me question how that could pass any kind of inspection before a guest would arrive. Future inn used to be one of the nicest hotels you could get for a reasonable price but these days their average and I only still stay here when away because I know what to expect. That plan has not served me well this time and soured my relationship with the company. Why wouldn't I stay elsewhere next time? I have taken photos and didn't really know what to do as it was only a 1 night stay luckily, I still might complain because it's just not acceptable. Avoid."

"I didn’t like my economy room..really small and unwelcoming. The toilet broke at night..no water in the cistern. I reported it in the morning because l couldn’t use it..but the person taking the phone call couldn’t help. At breakfast there was a table next to me which had people’s leftovers..it wasn’t cleared away for ten mins. Then the table was sprayed ..I had food that I didn’t want sprayed. The cooked breakfast was overdone..both eggs and the bacon."
