"Reception is not mnned all the time, nd the car park is not really big enough. On an industrial estate with limited food options, and only serves breakfast. Does provide free water / other drinks though. No AC in the room nd we found all hot, given the road at the front and train yard at the back opening the windows not practical"

"Trafo Hotel is located in city, but not at all hard to locate. No street parking areas. Parking garage is located underground, not hard to park. (25 CH) Very interesting hotel that used to be a manufacturing facility. Has large entry convention hall as you walk in. Very modern, clean, well decorated. Room was lovely, modern, clean, comfortable. 10 min walk to small old town area and river. AC, Some English TV. We just stayed there because it was a convenient stop for us so we ate dinner at a local restaurant, walked the old town and enjoyed the room for the evening. Had a wonderful breakfast, cold cuts, cheeses, breads, smoked salmon, etc. Very nice!"

"It was not my go-to to reserve at an American chain hotel, but in the end I realized it was a good choice, and it turned out to be perfect for me. Clean, efficient, great staff, nice rooms and also a lovely patio to eat on (you can always count on smokers in Switzerland)--the breakfast is serviceable and comes with the room, the shuttle costs 10CHF ($14?) per person, which is a bit ridiculous for our standards but typical--an uber cost us less. I'd stay here again for an airport overnight."

"Stayed here the night before our flight out of Zurich airport so we appreciated the very close distance to the airport. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was fairly big with comfortable beds, decent storage and a spacious bathroom. We took advantage of the balcony in the room and enjoyed being able to step outside. However, the cleanliness of the room and bathroom weren't up to the standards that I expected. The walls of the room were heavily scuffed and could desperately use a new coat of paint or some scrubbing with a magic eraser. The TV in the room also didn't work despite the staff member from the front desk doing his best to fix it, which was unfortunate but not a deal breaker for a one night stay."

"Everything was 5-star, including the staff and their excellent service. The only downside was the car park charge, which I found quite expensive at 20 CHF per night. Apart from that, everything was outstanding and truly deserving of a 5-star rating. One suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the breakfast buffet by offering a wider variety of options. Other than that, I had a great experience and would happily recommend this place."

"A unique setting in a beautiful area. The hotel is located right next to the Rhine River in a scenic location where the river moves rapidly with a soothing sound. The view also includes a small island that is a pedestrian park. The surrounding historic center city is well preserved and gives you a real feeling for what the area looked like in the Middles Ages. Furnishings are dimple but comfortable. The hotel restaurant is good, but expensive, and there are many other dining choices nearby. The local thermal springs spa at Sole Uno is one of the best in Europe."
