改装と休業

現地の規則により、ヒンドゥー教で元旦に当たる「静寂の日 (ニュピ)」当日は、午前 6 時から24 時間、宿泊施設の外に出ることができません。静寂の日は通常、3 月か 4 月です (毎年、日付は異なります)。当日はチェックインもチェックアウトもできません。また、ングラ ライ空港 (バリ国際空港) も閉鎖されます。

従業員の方々が親切だった。タオルも毎日取り替えてもらえた。チェックイン時、浴室でゴキブリが死んでいたので撤去してもらったのが悪いところでした。

Su's is a lovely place to stay with wonderful staff and the food is really very good. Good location and has all the shops, restaurants, bars and massage places as well as Circle K and Apotek, all a short walk away...a doctors clinic too in case you need one. They have a lift too which comes in handy.

Worst stay in bali ever.

Worst stay ever in bali. Description says the hotel is on the beach. Its 5 minutes walking to the beach. Big difference. I booked 4 nights, I stayed only for one night, receptionist said they will refund me half, another lie. Stay away.

Booked last minute

The best part of this stay was that they had lift to our room and the staff were lovely. It was fairly central in the area we wanted to be. However the toilet broke, the room was shabby, the bath towels looked like old pool towels and there was caked on grime and dirt on the skirting boards and sills. It was not expensive but felt cheaper than cheap. Probably wouldn’t stay here again

We only needed one nights stay somewhere cheap and cheerful after getting a late flight in from Australia, so chose Su’s Cottages as it was within walking distance to our longer term accommodation. It wasn’t expensive at all, it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. But the rooms on the street side were quite noisy. Heard great reviews about their included breakfast which was sufficient but nothing to write home about. All in all, I got what I paid for.

Avoid at all cost

Booked through hotels.com initially for 9 nights but changed it to 3 with the option to extend and I’m so glad I did. Flew from Penang via Jakarta so arrived at 23:00. Had arranged an airport pick up to the hotel which did not turn up. I had messaged the hotel the day before to arrange and agreed the price (250k). We waited for 45 minutes in case the driver was late during which time we called and messaged them but there was no response. Ended up getting a taxi which cost 150k so although it was cheaper it would have been nice to get what was promised. We mentioned the this to reception and didn’t even receive an apology! We booked the most expensive room (superior) but was given the cheaper option and it was very basic and very dirty. There was somebody’s swimming costume hanging up in the bathroom when we first entered and we had to use the shower to wash off all the dead flies from the wall so the room obviously hadn’t been checked or cleaned properly. They advertise having a pool but it is not big enough to swim in. More like a dipping pool. It didn’t look very inviting so I didn’t try it. No place to lie in the sun either. Breakfast was included and served in Su’s cafe (which is open to outside guests also) but very restricted. Only American style (toast, eggs, chicken sausage, bacon with a choice of fruit or fruit juice and coffee (coffee is instant Nescafé for guests but real coffee for members of the public!!) or you can have an Indonesian breakfast which I think is e
