「We had a family room for four people. Very spacious with three single beds and a double sofa. Plenty of space to move around. Coffee machine in the room was a bonus and free bottled water. We had a mini fridge which was nice and cold. Walk in shower with body wash and hair wash was another bonus too. We had breakfast which was ok, nothing special. We paid 15 euros per day for the parking. Location was perfect with the town centre few minutes walk away with lots of cafes, shops and market on...

「when I checked into my room at 5pm, all was fine. then I went into Ghent (lovely city) for the evening. when I got back a little after 11pm there was no power/lights in my room. and no staff to help! there was book on the desk in my room with hotel policies etc, but it was horribly outdated as it said to dial the front desk if one had any questions, but of course there are no longer any internal phones in the hotel. the next morning there was finally front desk staff, but they were incompetent...

「Extremely helpful staff. Beautiful hotel with lots of character. A good value.」

「Ok」

「The hosts were very nice and helpful with advice for our travels. Breakfast was fabulous, and our room was comfortable and clean with a large jetted bathtub that was perfect. 」

「Beautiful property and a wonderful hostess. Highly recommended.」

「Such a lovely place to stay. The apartment was in a building connected to the main mansion, so make sure to follow the directions that are sent to you about finding it if yours is there as well. Perfectly decorated, very comfortable room. The main mansion, it was so lonely and authentically historic. The owner and the operator is on call when she is not there. Do not hesitate to call her. She gave me a wonderful tour of the grounds, including the hunting lodge and hothouse.」
