The staff was awesome. King room with view was amazing. You wake up open the curtains to a special view of the Connecticut River along with birds and squirrels playing in the trees. There are chairs already for you outside as well so you can take in the quiet beauty with fresh air.

I had a great visit here. I did find the shower a little small- hard to get away from the spay of water because of the tight quarters, Staff very helpful in providing a wake up knock on the door my last morning there. Will visit again for sure. Also good breakfasts provided.

We stayed here for one night earlier this week and were pretty disappointed with the experience. We booked a queen bed, but got a double. The check in process was long and he didn’t seem to know what he was doing, it took about 15 minutes. The room was for the most part clean; however, there was a yellow stain both the duvet and sheet. We used our own pillows and did not use the blanket as it felt unclean. It was too late at night to mention anything but we would not stay here again. The actual town is lovely though.

This is an old school one story motor in on the CT river. My son and I stayed for an event at Dartmouth and loved it. All the people who work there are so so kind and I felt like I went back in time. We drove by some nearby chain hotels and were so glad we were staying at the Sunset.

It was a convenient location with a great water view. The window in our room was very wide so you could enjoy the water view. The rooms were very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable!! There was a large screen television which was easy on the eyes. We were happy that there was a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. They also provided breakfast every morning from 7-9 am. They were also the best rates in the location. A nice play to stay. The staff was very helpful and nice.

In truth, it's an older property without a ton of bells and whistles but it was well maintained and clean. The beds were comfy, and the shower was hot. The views? Impeccable. The continental breakfast was modest but we weren't looking for 5 stars and spa appointments. We would be happy to stay again if our travels bring us back,
