Leadville’s Victorian homes were historically built quite close together in the days before the “horseless carriage.” As such, parking can sometimes be a challenge. In the winter, maintaining an open parking space can cost homeowners a significant amount of money and/or hours spent shoveling. Please take these things into consideration as you plan your trip, and be courteous to your local neighbors by trying to park directly in front of the home you have rented.
Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants.
Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking.

We were there for business - a sculpture dedication at the Irish Miners Memorial which is worth visiting. But we also enjoyed being with in walking distance of the cafes and shops. The property was very clean. It does have quirks that go with a house that was built around 150 years ago, like some slightly sloping floors and such but that’s part of the fun.
The home was a lovely, quaint, and cozy place to rest and recharge. The kitchen was stocked with appliances for every occasion. It's a clean property and management was very accommodating when a problem was experienced. Their response was extremely fast and problem was solved. I would recommend this property.

Zinnia is a great short or long-term option in Leadville if you can afford multiple nights. Great location, clean, and just buckets of charm. Like any older home, don't expect a ton of USB charging options, but we've always loved this place. We've stayed there multiple days twice. Quieter part of town, too.
Towels were rough and beds a little uncomfortable, but everything else was amazing, and we would definitely stay again.

This was a very nice place to stay in Leadville. It is an older house, so it wasn't possible to open the windows to cool the bedrooms at night but other than that we enjoyed the stay. We definitely hope to stay there again if we can.
House was excellent
Clean, fully furnished especially with washer/dryer and in the kitchen
Two nice bedrooms
Lots of option the tv
One block from downtown
Highly recommend
This is our 2nd time staying in the Zinnia. We will be back soon!

It was nice. Unfortunately the back yard was not usable. Over grown and dead bird.

Lovely apartment a short walk to town, the grocery store, the railway etc. Just bring an eye shade - the flat has great privacy blinds but not blackout shades/curtains so if you are used to sleeping in darkness you'll need it.

Biggest problem was the floor. The floor is not flat or level. Problem walking from the entry area into the living room. Not good for seniors.
