Room was good. Check was lengthy as clerk at desk finally greeted us after a 12 min wait because she was consulting with her colleague (supposedly). The coffee maker was disgusting as a filter had been left in it for what I think was weeks. Showed the clerk but all she did was take a pic. Never sent anyone to come clean it so was unusable. The whole inventory process was super lengthy. 3 pages of making sure everything was in the place even the deco on the wall. Don’t think that is for the clients to do but a staff job. Other than that I guess our stay was adequate

Séjour d'affaires 2 nuitées. Environnement bruyant jusque dans le hall d'hôtel. Le personnel est toujours aussi accueillant et je les en remercie. Bonne continuation.

Bien mais peut mieux faire (dommage)

Nous sommes restés 4 nuits avec 2 chambres communicantes avec petit déjeuner. Bon accueil. Chambres propres, spacieuses et fonctionnelles. Le seul bémol est sur le petit déjeuner, 14€/personne trop cher pour les produits proposés et trop peu en quantité et en qualité. Et la piscine pas nettoyer (sale). À revoir si vous voulez garder vos deux étoiles.

The room was clean and comfortable. Eventually the air conditioner cooled the room to a comfortable level, maybe I was just too impatient. My card reader for the door didn't work on arrival, but that was promptly rectified. The grounds were nicely kept. I really liked the USB port built into the headboard of the bed to charge my phone. Food selection in the area was satisfactory and very tasty.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons dû changer d'appartement car celui qui nous avait été attribué avait une fenêtre manquante et le système de verrouillage de sécurité des baies coulissantes était cassé. Le second appartement était correct. La télé était minuscule dans une pièce de près de 20m2.Il y avait beaucoup de traces un peu partout, laissées par les lézards. La douche était correcte. Il y avait 2 couverts complets alors que nous étions trois. Le four était impossible à utiliser car il était rempli de moisissures. Il n'y avait pas de balai, ni de sceau à serpillère. Heureusement qu'il y avait le micro onde et un bon frigo. Nous avons donc décidé de prendre la formule petits déjeuners à l'accueil et de faire tous nos autres repas au restaurant dans les environs. L'avantage de cet hôtel est qu'il était le seul en Guadeloupe à nous permettre d'amener notre petit chien (un caniche toy). Ce paramètre est à garder et des améliorations quand à l'entretien des lieux et la fourniture des ustensiles de cuisine et de nettoyage avant l'arrivé des occupant est à revoir et à améliorer.

The room was nice and spacious and the view was beautiful, though it was annoying having to insert the room card into the slot to get power. And the closet and shower were a little annoying. Patio kitchen was something new and "different". Activating the WiFi was really tricky. Staff was helpful and some spoke English, but check in process was so slow and the paperwork was only in French. Lots of restaurants in the area, but they don't open 'til mid-day, but there's a small store. Beaches, bus stop and hiking nearby. However, I deducted one star as we had roaches in our room on two different nights and toiletries were limited and we also had no water on our last morning. And I think the breakfast should cost half of what they're charging. The automated e-mail requesting additional payment or you'll lose your reservation gave me a real scare. I thought it was a phishing scam and almost canceled my cards and my entire trip. It would have been nice for Expedia to state that this fee is already included in the payment and to ignore the automated e-mail. But my biggest complaint is that while the property IS operated by Karaibes Hotel, it is actually called "Residence les Yuccas", NOT "Karaibes Residences". "Karaibes Residences" are a private apartment complex completely separate from the hotel. This information was not clearly communicated to us, and we must've spent well over an hour trying to get into every building in the area, before a maid finally told us where to go.
