We found the house to be very comfortable and bigger than we expected. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. We catered for all our meals and though we had hoped to use the outside space for eating we ate inside as the weather wasn't as nice as we hoped. The table was big enough for the five of us.
There was always plenty of piping hot water and the Wifi was fast and reliable ( a must for our two grandchildren). The English Tv was also a plus, though we maybe shouldn't admit it.
We found lots to do within a 30 minute radius of the village. The more adventurous would find plenty more.
Having the supermarket and bakery so near suited us too. We were disappointed that the nearest swimming pool was in La Tranche, 30 minutes away, and the Water Park was full the day we went. We hadn't realised it was a bank holiday and it was the best day of the fortnight, weather wise. The Indian Forest was brilliant, even for an oldie like me. La Roche-sur-Yon was a lovely town, especially the area around Place Napoleon.
We bring home with us very happy memories of an extremely great, value for money, family break in France. Many thanks to Stuart for being so helpful with all our queries, when you book a holiday using a website it is so reassuring to get such quick helpful responses.
