Villa Caféière — 3 bedrooms, up to 6 guests A beautifully renovated Creole-style home, the villa features three air-conditioned, light-filled bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large fully equipped kitchen, and spacious common areas. The mezzanine features a workspace for remote workers or those seeking some privacy. The plunge pool (8 m² with massage jets) takes center stage in the garden—your signature relaxation spot.

A haven within a haven.
The Estate Surrounding both accommodations is a tropical garden of rare richness: cacao trees, coffee trees, soursop trees, palm trees, ylang-ylang, flamboyant trees… A stroll through this garden is an experience in itself. The Canal des Esclaves runs alongside the property, a historic remnant of colonial Martinique. Just a few meters away, the Sainte-Marie des Anges Priory (the Benedictine nuns) offers a moment of serenity and local artisanal products (jams, honey). The region’s iconic sites are just a short drive away: black-sand beaches (10 min), Saint-Pierre and its shipwrecks (15 min), the Neisson distillery, the Carbet Falls, and the Pelée and Pitons trails—all designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Fort-de-France is 35 minutes away.
You’ll enjoy exclusive and full access to the entire property: the Villa Caféière (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, terrace, pool), the Caféière Bungalow (studio, terrace, private hot tub), and the large tropical garden. No part of the property is shared with third parties. The property is entirely private for your group.

Le Carbet is one of the most authentic villages in the northern Caribbean region of Martinique—Creole cottages, lush gardens, black volcanic sand beaches, and fishermen at dawn. L’Habitation Caféière is located on a hill in a quiet residential neighborhood, away from mass tourism. A 5-minute drive away: essential shops (convenience store, bakery, pharmacy) in the town of Le Carbet. Along the coast, small Creole restaurants and beach bars will introduce you to local flavors. The neighborhood is also known for its connection to Paul Gauguin, who stayed here before leaving for Polynesia—the Paul Gauguin Cultural Center traces this history.
A car is essential. Free private on-site parking is available for several vehicles. The mountain roads are accessible with a standard vehicle. Taxis and ride-share services are available (Eko Taxi or local drivers—contact information provided upon booking). Mozaïk shuttles connect Le Carbet to Fort-de-France, but they’re not well-suited for exploring the region on your own.
