Rural Cottage with garden on the border of the Deux-Sevres and Vendee

Situated in the peaceful countryside of Le Busseau in the Deux-Sevres. Accommodation comprises; one family bedroom that sleeps 4 people, lounge with dining area, kitchen and bathroom. There is a terrace at the front of the cottage and a garden with parking at the rear.

Local attractions include Puy de Fou (30 minutes away), Mervent Zoo and Zoodyssee, Parcours Adventures and karting. There is a swimming lake at Chassenon de Bourg and beaches at La Rochelle, La Tranche sur Mer and Les Sables d'Olonne are approximately an hour away. For the fishermen there are lakes at Pecalis and Secondigny.

Within the surrounding area is the picturesque Mervent valley with lakes where you can go paddle boarding, go canoiing or hire a pedalo. The area also has some great restaurants.

The city of Niort is 35 minutes away and the towns of Bressuire and Parthenay are within 30 minutes travelling distance.

There is so much to do for the whole family. You won’t be disappointed.

Un petit gîte bien équipé

Le gîte est tout à fait cosy et bien équipé. Tout est fait pour le rendre accueillant (ménage impeccable, petites attentions d'arrivée, accueil très sympathique). Nous avons eu des difficultés, par contre, à joindre les propriétaires pour nous mettre d'accord sur notre arrivée. Il manquait sur l'annonce les coordonnées du portable que l'on pouvait joindre. La connexion internet, déjà très limitée dans le gite, a été interrompue totalement suite à un problème de réseau pendant pratiquement toute la semaine. Ce n'est malheureusement pas la faute des propriétaires qui étaient absents à ce moment-là. Quelques visites intéressantes :les châteaux de Coulonges sur l'Autize, de Terre Neuve, du Coudray-Salbart, des abbayes... la ville de Poitiers et le parc du Puy du fou qui ne sont quand même pas tout près...
