It needs a major face lift: mold/dirt on balconies outside, inside the vinyl furniture is torn or has holes in many places and housekeeping took our extra pillows saying we were not allowed to have them! "Villa Rita was more like a resort than a hotel. We enjoyed the pool and most of the meals. The proximity to the ruins and to the beach were important to us. One complaint: The method of choosing breakfast or dinner was confusing."

"Report was nice, clean and well Maintained as far as we could tell. Seems ridiculous you have to pay for a towel for the pool or beach. They say it is to launder it - but that should be included in the amount you pay for the room. Obviously if you are staying at a place with a pool and a beach you are going to need a towel. Just a cash grab in my opinion."

"The staff were friendly and welcoming on my arrival. I booked a double deluxe room and was given the largest room on arrival. It was clean, quiet and very spacious for one person. I slept very well during my stay as the bed was extremely comfortable. The gardens are well maintained and spacious and the area around the pool is a haven of tranquility. It’s unfortunate that the pools are not large enough to swim in. Breakfast was sufficient, although I had to request a cappuccino on several occasions. The hotel is a short walk from the archaeological park and the nearby restaurants."
