「My room was spacious, spotlessly clean and, as an added bonus, came with a coffee machine so no terrible instant coffee in the morning. The food took what was already an excellent stay to another level at both breakfast and dinner with amazing food. The two men running things also strike the perfect balance of friendly, attentive and relaxed to make you feel welcome. When I’m next in the area I’ll definitely be staying again.」

「If you are looking to stay in a traditional English Pub, this is the place. Cozy rooms with great washroom facilities. Very clean and comfortable beds. 「宿泊の予約以降は、予約内容の確認や変更、タクシーの予約などはホテルと直接、英語のメールで行いましたが、きめ細かに、かつ無駄なく対応してくれました。チェックイン時から対応が的確、親切で、どの従業員さんも笑顔が絶えず、利用して本当に良かったです。実は、家族の一人が電車の網棚にリュックを忘れてきてしまったのですが、受付の方が親切に鉄道会社と交渉してくれ、ホテルに届けてもらうことができ、パスポートなどの貴重品が無事だったという経験もしました。ビジネスライクなホテルも多い中、親身になって適切に対応してくれるホテルはなかなかないかと思います。部屋も広く、インテリアもセンスよく、清潔、快適で癒やされました。イングリッシュガーデンや施設なども美しく清潔で、周辺の景観の素晴らしさと相まって、最高の滞在でした。是非また滞在したいと思います。」

「COVID禍での滞在となりました。営業していてくれただけでもありがたいですが、初滞在のホテルです。パブの上階がホテルとなっているスタイルです。夕食もパブで取れるので便利です。チェックイン時は19時くらいでしたが、パブは盛況で混雑しており、チェックインに時間を要しました。 COVID対策で入り口での待ちが発生します。食事も混雑していましたが、テーブルをすぐに準備してくれて、味も美味しかったです。部屋は必要なものはそろっていますが、テーブルがないのが残念。シャワーのお湯もすぐ出るし、朝食もフルブレックファストで満足の状態。スタッフはフレンドリーで親切なのでまた滞在したいです。」
