"Wir waren im August 2023 mit 2 Teenagern und unserm Hund dort. Obwohl die Haushälfte zum Hang zeigte war es sehr hell und von den beiden Terrassen vor und hinter dem Haus gab es einen tollen Blick Richtung Meer. Die angegebenen 1 km bis zum Strand sind wohl Luftlinie, also zu Fuß nicht zu machen da es steil bergauf- und ab geht. Aber mit dem Auto ist man in 5 Minuten am Strand. "We had a great fortnight here with our 14 and 12 year old. The property is spotlessly clean and an architectural work of art! The bedrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen / living space is very nice. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics you need. Could probably do with a few more bits and pieces (a jug, another serving bowl etc) but the full size fridge and freezer is a real asset. What makes Villa Blue special is the huge roof terrace and outside shower. The views are breath taking...

This property was able to accommodate our group of 13 and we are all still raving about the views and the pool! San Lucido was not far away and had nice grocery stores and gelaterias. "We were so happy to have found this lovely villa, with its own pool and sea views. We watched the sunset at the nearby cove. The villa is well presented, with some great touches (like a warm outside shower plus 2 inside bathrooms) and the host is so lovely and helpful. "We booked two of these beautiful villas for when we got married locally. It was as beautiful as the pictures. The check in was easy and he even let us check in early. The pools were cleaned daily, any any issues were resolved so quickly - the electric went out and he gave us instructions immediately. He even went the extra mile to help us with taxi numbers. My only tip is you need hire cars, no one will be able to walk up the hill on the heat! Thank you again!"

"We were the first guests to stay at this beautiful home. It is out in the country, and has wonderful views of the countryside and old Rende. Our host, Rossana, met us at the house and showed us everything we needed to know. She speaks fluent Italian (which we do not) and English (which we do). "This is such a beautiful place with a laid-back atmosphere and host. Cesare was great from start to finish. We arrived later in the evening the first night but he was kind and patient as we drove into southern Italy. The courtyard is beautifully decorated with gorgeous flowers and outdoor furniture and it's illuminated at night. Our room was clean and colorful and the kitchen was super useful. The beach is walkable and within 300 meters. We'll definitely stay here again! Thank you!!"

"Calabria is a province of hilltop villages and just outside San Vincenzo La Costa is this peaceful mountain refuge. The driveway is daunting at first but passable in any car and easy once you have done it. Host Claudia stocked the place with jam, bread and coffee and did everything to make me feel at home. There is great hiking from the house and even better a short drive away, and it easy to access all the wonders of Calabria in an hours drive in any direction. I cannot wait to come back."

The perfect place to stay
"The first thing to say is "WOW", what a great place to stay - the entire place was beautiful and was such a perfect stop on our trip to Sicilia. The room was so nice and comfortable we didn't want to leave. The food was incredible and the staff was just over the top awesome !!! We are very picky when we travel about cleanliness, value and customer service - we were so pleased that everything was even better than advertised - we will absolutely stay here again when we get the chance !!!! Bellisimo !! Bella !! Perfetto !!"
