The overall experience was 3/5. Upon booking there was issues with the dates of our stay. Our departing date was sold to another family, forcing us to move to another property for a single night. The communication between us and the host for the departure date mix up was poor and was our first inconvenience of a trip for 19 people. The hot water heater went out the first day and we did not have hot running water for showers (even with a quick fix) for the whole week. Third, the dryer was not working properly - it took 5-8 hours to dry any of our clothes and towels. Even after that many cycles everything was damp. Charles was fantastic and came to save the day providing us a place to stay for our last night and was helpful with trying to accommodate immediate issues. We would've liked to see more of a proactive response and accommodation for the booking issue since we were paying over $1,000/night.
