Perfectly located condo at the gateway to Old Mesilla. Not a detail skipped on this unit. The living area provides great exposure to high ceilings with wood beams. While in the living area anyone can appreciate the gas fireplace, nichos, and direct access to your own balcony. The kitchen is beautifully done with granite counter tops, and all stainless appliances. This unit directly overlooks the pool area and courtyard with barbeque grills. The building has privacy in mind with double walls.

La Casa de Avenida Mesilla

My wife and I, along with a couple of close friends from Minneapolis enjoyed our time at this property immensely. The host, Melissa, couldn’t have been more responsive, helpful and gracious. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and perfectly located. Historic Mesilla was, literally right next door and downtown Las Cruces only a 5-minute drive. This was our first trip to the Las Cruces area and we all fell in love with its beauty, charm and warmth. The accommodations were very much a contributing factor. We felt welcome and at home. I unhesitatingly recommend what I call La Casa de Avenida Mesilla to anyone looking to visit the enchanting Las Cruces area and wants to feel more like a local than a visitor. Don’t forget to look upwards as the sky here is the most spectacular I’ve ever experienced.

Great Place

The property was ideal for two adults. The grounds were beautiful. The Condo was exceptionally clean, well equipped and comfortable. The location was ideal for visiting Las Cruces and the surrounding area.

Near Mesilla with a pool

Comfortable accomidations. The pool was nice to cool down. It is dark inside but there is plenty of lighting & lamps to lighten up the place. It keeps it cool in there & was great for sleeping in past sunrise.

Cute condo wirh a pool

Stayed here for the week of the Saceport America Cup 2023. It was a great location only 5 min from the convention center and close to the freeway to soaceport. It was wonderful to come in from the desert and cool off in the pool. I would recommend.

Great location and great price

We enjoyed our stay in Las Cruces. This was our first time to the area and we enjoyed it very much. Plenty to do and some excellent restaurants nearby. Good golf and shopping. Everything was relatively close and easy to get to. A non-smoking complex was appreciated. No heated pool this time of year. And no cable tv. But we survived on streaming services. Fireplace wasn’t working and would have been nice a few nights.

Great location

The location was very nice, close to interstate 10, Walmart and less than a mile from Old Mesilla. We found it would of been useful to have a list of area restaurants, hiking trails and points of interest. Across the street is Luna Rosa Winery that has great pizza and wine. On Mondays they have pizza deals. I recommend visiting Andel's Dog House and Peppers. Peppers a must great atmosphere and delicious fish tacos. Palacios bar and Spotted Dog Brewery both made you feel like old friends. Understand that the condo's architectural design helps keep it cooler in the heat of summer making it feel very dark inside. Along with the condo being on ground level and having the shades closed most of the time. There are two small patios, one faces the parking lot and the other one the pool. There were some rules that were different from other Vrbo's. Please haul garbage out daily. Then the owners should supply garbage bags. Next one was no eating or drinking anything except water outside kitchen area. We do like to come back and relax at night and watch TV/movie with a beverage and popcorn. Overall this was a clean place with a great location.

Nice place but.....

Beautiful unit, good beds. Great showers. I would suggest a tutorial for the 5 remotes. The TV was difficult to access, never did find local channels or "regular TV" the fireplace was a nice touch on cool evenings but could not get any ambience because could not make it flame. The the kitchen was stocked for eating but poorly stocked for cooking
