「The hotel had no hot water. The restaurant does not have dinner Monday and they referred us to a restaurant in town where the food was very disappointing. It is hard to get into the hotel (gate - you have to call) and hard to get out (the gate again / hard to find the stand with the button to open it - why can’t the reception person point these out when you arrive? But the worst was no hot water..」

「別館の2階のスィートに宿泊したが、バスルームの電気を消すと大量に蟻が出てくる。また、予約時に掲載写真を見て予約したが予約後、全く別の写真と差し替えられて、予約したかった部屋と変更されてしまった。キャンセルして予約し直したかったが前金で引き落としされていたので、意思疎通が上手くいかないと後々面倒そうなので、諦めた。レストランは、魚料理は良いが肉料理は同じシェフが作ったとは思えないほどの、シロモノだった。ホテルのまわりの景色は、とても良いと思う。」

「We stayed at Le Grand Bassin Guesthouse for one night before picking up our Le Boat for a 10-day cruise east. I can say without hesitation that we had a perfect stay! We arrived on Castelnaudry by train, and then walked to the guesthouse, so of course we were behind schedule. Sophie waited patiently for us and, on our arrival, called Chez David in town to make sure we would get a table for dinner. Sophie is an exceptional host, and our room was clean and comfortable. We did not have breakfast...
