"This is a great budget-friendly place to stay. It’s conveniently located near many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. As a female traveller, I felt safe. The only downside is the thin walls, which let you hear guests in other rooms and even outside your balcony. Overall, I enjoyed the breakfast and the friendly, helpful staff. "

"The rooms, and rooftop pool lounge were not as nice as photos. Very small rooms and a bit rough. The biggest problem was security as our car was robbed while parked in hotels guarded "secure parking lot". While Management was very apologetic and refunded our room charge indicated this never happened before, we feel they need better security. When checking in we were told the gate is always closed and they monitored by front desk and guard but this was not the case. Lots of staff but indifferent service. If I could do it again, I would stay at strand hotel. "

"The issues I had checking in were taken care off expeditiously. Internet was restored and I was shown how the TV in this part of the world worked. Thanks to Larry who was so knowledgeable about the area and was able to suggest activities for us which made the whole trip enjoyable. "
