「Perfect start to a holiday」

「We had an amazing stay at this beautiful château in the countryside of the Loire Valley. The host was welcoming & friendly and very informative, helping us with suggestions of restaurants and sites to see as well as some history on her home which has been in her family for 18 generations. Having come from busy, crowded and loud Paris (which we loved as well), Château de la Giraudière was exactly what we needed next; quiet, fresh air and a small village environment. Charming building and courtyard. Most atmospheric. Hugely comfortable, artfully decorated bedroom and excellent bathroom. Beautiful view from the window. Very convenient, arrived from the A20 and left the following morning for the A71. Works well for both routes.」
