"The hotel is in a small town not far from Decorah Iowa, and Lanesboro MN. I chose the hotel because of location to the local caves. Checkin experience was excellent. I had a nice room upgrade to a larger King room that had a kitchenette. I found the space to be very clean, although the hotel can use some updating. For a small town hotel, this was a good choice. There are a few attractions nearby, though not a lot."

"We heartily enjoyed our stay with Andrea! She is a wonderful host. We forgot to bring eggs and she gave us a dozen fresh ones from her chickens. It's been a long time since we had farm eggs and these tasted fantastic. Her two Great Pyrenees pups, Kadi and Marco, were adorable. I only saw one donkey and two cats, but I understand there were more!The bunkhouse was beautiful. We loved all the incredible accents, old tools/equipment, and photos of your Amish neighbors. We kept finding new things over the five days of our stay. We were able to identify some of the old tools, but not all! There is a cool spiral staircase to the loft. We're both short and bumped our heads a couple times in the loft :) The bed was very confortable and we appreciated the fan.We had no trouble finding it. Google maps took us right there. We highly recommend staying here and plan to do so next year!"
