Wonderful

Quite, peaceful and comfortable. Well appointed with easy access. Hosts were great to communicate with. Would stay here again! Lake is gorgeous and proximity to restaurants and activities is excellent for this area.
The house was beautiful with a great view. The only negative was that the kitchen pots/pans and the range top were very lacking. The range top was so old and weak that I spent considerably more time cooking than I anticipated. Gas top needs to be replaced. The pots and pans were cheap nonstick pans that were scratched and old. Some I would never use due to the poor condition…literally unusable, the others I used reluctantly. But the bedrooms and common spaces were very nice. Seating is comfortable, beds nice, bar downstairs is awesome, master is wonderful… if we didn’t plan to cook for our meals then the accommodations would be perfect. Overall a great place to stay.
The property was very clean. Lots of space for our group. We were comfortable, except for the main bedroom bed and a couple others, which felt to be on metal supports without much to cushion them. Owner was very responsive, which was appreciated.
We are a group of 13 from church ages from 8-75 which 4 couples travel by motorcycle. We enjoyed the area and the house was very nice. It was as listed on line, it was very clean. Had no problems whatsoever also communication was great before and during stay with host. Would go again if traveling to the area.
My family of 15 with ages ranging from 9-70 had an amazing weekend at this house! There was plenty of room for all 4 families to spread out while still being together. The upstairs kitchen was fantastic to cook in and had everything we needed. The downstairs kitchen made for an easy snack station while going down to the lake, rocking on the porch or relaxing in the hot tub. Check in and check out was simple and the owners had excellent communication. Also the nearby towns of Tyron and Landrum had some excellent antiquing and cute shops!
We liked the location and the size of the house very much.
There were dirty windows, thick spider web in master bedroom window, dirty vents and dirty kitchen sinks, freezer in basement had a red liquid all over the bottom that we assumed came from meat products, cabinet door missing in Main kitchen, door knob loose on one bedroom, a couple of electrical sockets hanging loose from wall, gas fireplaces did not work and a few other things that did not work or were broken in some way.
We enjoyed our trip but the above mentioned thing were a disappointment for us. I only wonder if owner knows this is how there house is being maintained.
Unfortunately, two of the three fireplaces didn’t work and being from Florida we were excited about them. The master bathroom’s jetted bathtub didn’t work, and since we don’t have a bathtub at home, we were very disappointed in this. We found two adult shoe-sized holes in the decks (master bedroom and main deck), so we couldn’t really enjoy or let the kids on the decks. The house really is a beautiful home and located in a beautiful neighborhood. It’s a shame the care is lacking.
Everything was as beautiful as the pictures! The hottub was wonderful! We enjoyed the privacy and the lake setting. Very easy to get to local restaurants, with my favorite being Brooks Tavern. The TV had a great picture. It was a quiet retreat for us. Communication with host was quick in response and helpful.
Check in process was smooth. Location is awesome. Separated from the city but close enough to get there in a couple minutes. Property and house were very comfortable and clean. Beautiful location right across the road from the water
Family Reunion in Tyron, awesome place.
Would rent again,
Would of loved to be able to get down to the lake, steps in need of repair.
Everything was fabulous! Thanks
We loved our week here. This multi level home provided spaces for all ages to hang out & the downstairs was great for kids.
Fishing across the street and kayaking filled our days, with time around the fire at night.
Sage was responsive to my texts & helpful.
We will definitely be back.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
Nice house
The sleeping arrangements should be a little more clear in the description. We realized we needed the air mattress when we got there, that night realized it had a hole so we had to go buy a new one. The freezer on the bottom level has not been cleaned in some time, I saw another review stating the same thing from December 2023. The house is nice, but could be cleaned better.
We had 3 generations of our family come together for an amazing 3 night stay - the house was PERFECT with 6 separate rooms for sleeping spread across 3 levels, we had so much room. There are a lot of stairs so keep that in mind. The driver to the house is spectacular and windy, with beautiful lake views - those not used to very windy roads may find it intimidating. The views from the main room were the reason I chose this house. The communication was wonderful, Sage was kind and so helpful. The house is spotless, beautifully designed and has everything you need to cook and enjoy. Pool table. Hot tub outside. A firepit outside. 2 fireplaces inside. Huge tvs. Loads of couches. Kids had a blast. And let me tell you about that master bedroom on the top floor - just wow! Thank you!!
We stayed for 2 nights, for a quick getaway. It rained so we did not rent the boats. We did enjoy the hot tub, pool table and arcade area. The couches and beds were comfortable and the house is very roomy and clean. My only minor complaints are the plates and bowls were plastic and get very hot when you microwave them. There are no dishes in the downstairs kitchen, although it does have a great ice maker. Also, it would be good to provide plastic cups to take drinks to the hot tub. More information about where the boats are located and how to access them in the listing would be good, and warn guest about not using the dilapidated steps that go down to the lake. Some lamps in the rooms would be nice as well. I had to turn the closet light on in the evening for a light option instead of the super bright overhead lights. We would definitely stay again, and our 8 year old loved the house.
