「When we arrived they told us we had to pay an additional $100 deposit (which they wanted to run through on a card and then later refund, if we were paying cash. I had no problem with them having the card number, but didn’t have enough on the debit card to put the hundred through. We wound up having to use my daughter’s card. Wish we had been advised of this policy ahead of time. Also, we were not able to adjust the room temperature. Was not impressed.」

「We had to unexpectedly stay the night in Waco after a medical procedure. They got us in to their last available room. It was comfortable, cool, and safe. Just what we needed. They even graciously extended our checkout the next morning. Terrific beds, a/c, and breakfast/coffee choices. Thanks for your kindness! 」

「Everything was wonderful during our stay with one exception. We stayed in room 306 and every so often we’d hear this strange knocking noise next to the bathroom and electric box. It occurred at all times and night with the last night being from 4:30 am until 6 am. We spoke to staff who said they were aware of the problem and there was a loose pipe in the wall. The only way to fix it would be to open the wall. It sounds as if no one wants to fix it. Other than the problem with the wall everyone...

「It’s always a good experience when we stay here in the 2 bedroom suite and the staff go way beyond especially the one staff Justin who helped me out a lot they’re all excellent but Justin at the south Waco location helped a lot just wanna say thank you 」

「The Hotel is in a great location near everything. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our complaint is we have always had a free breakfast and although minimal charge, the room price should have included free breakfast. The room was great except we saw a few sugar ants and a rolly polly. It was great for our weekend plans. 」

「This was a unique trip and holiday for my adult daughter and me. The cabins were clean and exactly as described on their website. We participated in most of the events offered and enjoyed interacting with and learning about the exotic animals. The staff is very knowledgeable; we were educated on many aspects of nature and wildlife. We went horseback riding twice and found it challenging yet enjoyable. We plan on returning someday, so our stay was top-notch for two nature and animal lovers.」

「Really great value hotel. Nice bar with an extremely talented bar tender. The free breakfast was not your typical cereal and stale bread spread. Crepes, berry parfaits, frittatas and good coffee. I selected it because it was close to Baylor and pet friendly and very pleasantly surprised.」
