"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). "Excellent food from all of the restaurants, snack bars and even the buffet. Good range of pools without any major issue finding sun loungers. Beach is sandy and can easily swim in the sea safely. Water park is great to have as another option. Hotel is big on sustainability so have to refill your own water bottles each day, but easy enough to do. We occasionally needed to request the room to be cleaned via the app as not always done daily, however each time we requested it to be cleaned it was done within the hour."
