Escape the City Life and indulge into the mixture of crispy fresh Lake and Pine air and hear the trees whisper your stress away. Our cottage is located in an upscale area of Grand Bend - Southcott Pines offering almost 2200 sq.ft of authentic set up. Our cottage is 5 minutes walking to Huron Lake with lake access offering phenomenal sunsets. Southcott Pines has multiple access points to the private beach. Walk or bike through the woods to the Huron Woods and the Pinery.

We are offering our 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathroom Chalet for your enjoyment. The cottage is used by our family when time permits and is truly unique and special. The place is spacious and stocked with all the essentials.

The basement has a pingpong table and board games.

There are two outdoor patios for morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

Very nice 3 bedroom house with additional room converted to a bedroom with bunk bed. Clean and well maintained, new modern showers and nice den. Very comfortable family room made in log house style, shades or curtains for privacy woould be nice. Kitchen a bit dated but well with everything needed, the owners seem to be doing upgrades, kitchen might be next. The only complaint is very firm matraces, all of them, a soft topper would be much appreciated.

Great location for exploring Grand Bend and Lake Huron

The property was in a nice wooded neighbourhood and amazingly spacious (we were a party of 4) and comfortable. For those more elderly or concerned with accessibility the 2nd floor is quite high up and the stairs a bit steep. However there is also a bedroom on the ground floor and 2 bathrooms downstairs. The little Nespresso machine in the kitchen was a nice touch. The access pass to a private neighbourhood beach was very convenient. Though parking there is limited we always found a spot. We were impressed with Grand Bend main street and beaches (first visit) and nearby communities - Bayfield and Goderich.

A lovely retreat

The house is well equipped, nestled in the woods, a 5 minute walk from the beach. It had everything for a holiday week, a great deck to hang out on, a fire pit with a good wood supply and comfy Muskoka chairs, cosy indoor space for rainy days. We had a splendid week, and can only recommend this rental to families looking for a summer getaway.

Amazing Location

Our family had a really great time. The place had a real cottage feel and was very clean and spacious. The location was picturesque and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. We would definitely go back!

OUTSTANDING

Honestly, hands down the best spot! This cottage is incredible. Very spacious and well kept. Everything was spotless and the host provided absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Communication was simple and very fast. She checked in on us to ensure we were okay, and offered helpful insight on places to visit in Grand Bend. Private beaches within walking distance. I could go on and on. You will not be dissapointed. AMAZING!
