They're rebuiding a lot. Our room had soft floors that gave way when you stood on them. The toilet banged HARD against the wall when you sat down and stood up. Also, the water was rust colored, but the Manager said it was ok to drink. We would never recommend this place to anyone.

The owner was very enthusiastic and happy to see us,, but told us the ice machine was out and had been as there was no one to fix it. He also told us not to drink the water as the city water was no good! Bed was ok, floor was sticky, shower was just beginning to get moldy, you could see the pink on the grout. Towels wouldn't even be absorbent enough to use as rags. Ugh! Pick somewhere else! We paid $100, should have been $35 or so!

The town is cute and friendly. The hotel was dated and musty. Definitely in need of TLC. It was quiet and the bed was ok.

They were doing some remodeling, so there were nails and screws on the ground. The water was sulfur-y so we couldn’t shower. But other than that, the hotel was really nice. The town doesn’t have much offer though. My fiancé’s fire training got canceled, so we left a day early.

The room was Pet friendly- When i checked in the motel representative showed me a letter on the counter from the City of Lakeview explaining why the water smelt like sulfur.......everything was filthy- bedding didn't smell clean- lots of Mold throughout the room- floor was very spongy- i have Never paid for a room like this before- but because we had our 12 lb doggy who is n his last days, we had to stay there. No other hotel in this town that would take pets. There were a few farmworker work Vans in the parking lot along with the workers BBQing their meals. No issues there, but this gives you an idea of the type of motel it was. Never will i ever stay here. I'd rather stay in my car & sleep then spend 120.00 there. 100.00 for us and 20 for the pet charge.........Very disgusted!

Most importantly the check-in was great, staff super nice and the room was clean. It is a dated facility and looks like it is in the process of slowly being updated. It is perfect for a quick overnight stay. Yes, I would stay there again.
