"The room was very spacious and bright, with a gas fireplace and sitting area in front of it. The chairs in the seating area were a bit uncomfortable, saggy, so one night we watched the small tv in bed. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower and the whole room was very clean. The mini fridge had a freezer which was appreciated for our freezer packs. The ice machine in the breakfast area is not for coolers. The pool was not open, which was a drawback. The breakfast was carb heavy with bagels, bread, muffins, danish and cereal. There were no hot foods or fruit. We ate breakfast our last day at Union Diner down the road, very good. Staff was great and so was the location. The restaurant attached to the resort was very expensive, but the food looked good. We had a drink in the bar, but we thought $28 for 2 rum and gingers was a bit steep. "

"Room felt neglected- no shower curtain, TV did not work, walls and screen window was shabby - I kinda expected some neglect - this seemed like too much. Then saw the smoke detector cover was missing and lost confidence in it’s safety so left and booked at another location. "

"The house was perfect for our 3 generation trip (ages 78-8!). Plenty of space, clean, and we loved the huge kitchen and open main living area with a super cozy, recliner sectional and giant beanbag chair. The hot tub was a big hit, as was the game room (with 2nd fridge!) especially for the kids and teens. Very convenient location near Gunstock, grocery store, restaurants and the skating rink in Laconia. Alex was a very gracious and responsive host and the property manager, Keith was great as well."
