「we had a great time staying at lakeshore retreat. it was really convenient to be able to walk to the beach. our boys were able to fish right off of the beach and caught a couple of bass.」

「Great house, great location! We stayed for 3 nights with our church youth group and truly enjoyed our time here. The 3-story layout worked perfectly for us and made it easy to separate girls and guys on different floors. A couple of amenities didn’t work (such as the ice machine), but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We would gladly stay here again 」

「We were heading north on a ten day tent camping trip and needed a place to stay for a night where the loaded down truck would be safe over night. So glad we found this place. My 10 year old son and I very much enjoyed the stay and it is as expected, super cool. Staying in a hobbit hole has now been checked of the old bucket list. Definitely recommend staying here and I’m sure we will be back. 」

「There's so much good to say about our stay. The accommodations were gorgeous, and so much thought was put into every detail of the room, it was just gorgeous. The property itself was beautiful, and a nice place to hike. Lastly, the breakfast was perfect. They served rustic sheet pancakes which were fluffy and delicious with fruit baked into them. On the side was some honeydew melon and a scramble of polish sausage, onion and apple. Absolutely delicious.」

「The Hobbit Hole was exactly has described. The location is remote and quiet. The room was adorable and nicely decorated. The host was wonderful and communicative.The host delivered a breakfast tray with the best breakfast I have ever had at a VRBO stay the day of our departure!」

「Well appointed, older home in north Redding near Shasta Lake. Good sized house, very clean, with comfortable beds. Kitchen well equipt. Landload easily accessable and helpful. Quiet neighborhood, on a side street with no traffic. Close to grocery store and near downtown and the mall. No issues, easy stay for us. Would book this house again.」

「Location was perfect and the room was very well outfitted. I gave four stars instead of five because the queen bed was very very firm and I think that an easy adjustment of mattress (or adding a queen topper) could make it five star. 」
