"Host was quick to respond to questions and concerns and offered great advice about the location. He understood our concerns and the house, though a bit tiny for our families of 8, was well appointed and had everything we needed...especially being big cooks.Only challenges were that it took two nights before the house truly warmed up with the heaters and the wonderful fire (it was very cold out...and can't blame the host for that!) And, being big cooks, when we would use oven as well as the stovetop at the same time for a meal, and with other electricity on in the house the breakers/fuse box would shut off. It made two nights of our stay a bit difficult to time our big "at home" dinners. Overall, very cozy, comfortable and it was a great location for us as it was only 10 min. from our new home in Castiglione Del Lago! Thank you!"

The host, Paulo & his family run a beautiful, historic (yet modern) boutique full-service hotel experience. Room & bathroom are incredibly well appointed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We just can't say enough great things about & if we ever get the privilege of returning to the region, we will stay here again without hesitation! Grazie mille Paulo! "

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and it was defiantly service with a smile. "This was a location and villa with private pool of our dreams. It has everything you can want for a traditional Italian experience. The views are beautiful day and night. The villa is spacious inside and out set on a large picturesque plot. If you want rustic, quiet and authentic, this is the place for you. Situated only a few minutes drive from San Feliciano with plenty of activities and restaurants for a typically quiet holiday. The host and his two golden retrievers live upstairs. If you love dogs they will make your holiday complete. We took our dog and she had unlimited access to the land and property. Massimo is a quiet,Kind and private person. He is totally willing to offer help and guidance if you ask him. However If you just want to make the best of everything available and do your own thing he is totally respectful. We would recommend the villa and location to anyone wanting a true experience of Italy. "

"Nice quiet hotel even though on the main street of the castle area. Staff was friendly, the food was excellent and the price was a bargain. The room was quite small but there is a common area where we could hang out a couple of times. Parking is by the hour in the nearby area so recommend you get the parking app, which was also useful in other towns. "
