What a great place for our first family snow trip! Comfortably accommodated all six of us (adult-sized)! Things we loved:-well-stocked kitchen (garlic press, nutribullet, Instant pot,plenty spices, even flour & sugar)-Enclosed garage filled with snow toys! -central heating worked beautifully-so close to Tahoe Donner Ski area!! Great beginner spot!—Excellent communication with property managerThings to be aware of (though will not deter us from renting here again):-Fireplace did not work properly (we’ve lived in homes with fireplaces/wood-burning stoves, and it seemed like it needed a thorough cleaning (manager was helpful in offering solutions, however we had already tried everything he suggested, and the house became very smoky- uncomfortably so- we were bummed to not have a cozy fire to sit by, but again, not a dealbreaker, and the heater was great. - Dull kitchen knives (we finally found the knife sharpener-hidden inside one of the slots in the knife block, so hopefully next guests won’t have this issue)- It would be wonderful if the house came with a garage door opener (though I could see the potential nightmare of having to replace lost fobs)- somewhat limited hot water. We were thrilled to enjoy a soak in the beautiful bathtub, but before it filled, someone in another bathroom started showering, and the tub did not fill halfway up before the hot water ran out. The dishwasher may have also been running. Beautiful home! Planning our next trip already!!
