We had a great stay at Hotel Bellevue. Right across from the train station, our stay was quiet, comfortable, and centrally located. Was also surprised with a delicious selection for breakfast each morning.

The room was really spacious and had an awesome lake view. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They give you a free bus pass to use during your stay. You get on right out front and it takes you to the city center or train station in about 15 minutes. Very easy and convenient. After a day of sightseeing it was nice to come back to our room, make some hot tea, and slip into a cozy robe and slippers. We asked for a lake view room upon reservation and when we arrived, we were upgraded to a suite with not only a lake view, but a balcony. The accommodations were not only spacious and comfortable, but the room was beautifully appointed with an antique desk and dresser, lovely chandeliers, roomy closets and a double sink bathroom. The hotel manager and front desk team were incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel is beautifully located right in front of a stunning lake and majestic mountains. I accidentally left my computer in an Uber, and the hotel manager and team went above and beyond to help me recover it. I truly appreciated their patience, support, and warm hospitality. I feel so lucky to have stayed at this beautiful hotel, and I will definitely choose it again when I return to visit Lucerne.

This is a wonderful historical property that has been recently renovated and is currently in great shape. The room and common areas are tastefully decorated with color and charm, and the fixtures are up to date and modern. It sits on a hillside above the town, but there is a dedicated elevator (furnicular) that leads directly from the street to the property. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at the hotel. Traveling single, I had a lot of questions, and the staff at the desk fielded them all and were very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located about 3 minutes from the train station, so you do not have to walk far. The morning breakfast offered was a great way to start your day. Incredible views outside my widow. Breakfast was excellent-eggs, variety of meats and cheese, dried fruits, yogurt, waffle/bread. Location was about 20 minute walk ( hilly) to Interlaken ost. (Coop across station). Bus 102 stop is few yards from hotel ( brings you to Interlaken ost in 5-10 minutes). Friendly staff. Grocery next door has meat/cheese. Walkable to Lake Brienze .
